Claire was born (24 February 1977) in Montreal, Canada.
She lived in Toronto until she was 12, & since then, has been moving back & forth between the two cities. Graduated High School at 16, where she was awarded the Drama Proficiency & Drama Merit Awards. Claire then attended John Abbott College & graduated with honors in Creative Arts, majoring in theatre performance.
At 19, she moved to New York City, where she studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, & received a scholarship for her second year. Upon her graduation, she stayed in NYC doing theatre & musicals. She moved back to Montreal at the age of 23, & began splitting her time between Toronto & Montreal. In 2003, she was nominated 'Best Actress' for a MECCA (Montreal English Circle Critics Award) for her portrayal of 'Louise' in Daniel MacIvor's "Marion Bridge".
Claire is fluently bi-lingual in French & English. She continues to reside in both Toronto & Montreal, where she works in film, TV, & theatre.
